Butte County contains over 1,500 square miles of mountains, foothills, and riverland in northern California. Since much of the population is distributed throughout the area in smaller, rural communities, County staff recognized a need to provide their citizens with easier access to a variety of planning and development documents.
The project began in 2022 with the conversion of the County’s General Plan 2030 into the enCodePlus software system. Since then, we have added:

Style of online presentation to organize content in an easily accessible, visually compelling way.
Organizes plans, ordinances and other document types into understandable sections and categories. Also referred to as Plan Navigator and Zoning Navigator.
